How are we doing, motherlovers? It has been such a long time since I blogged. No real reason as to why not, it just hasn't happened. Also, name change for ya. So, I have spent most of my time working, going to school, cooking and watching Netflix. Besides cooking random recipes I have found, I have spent quite an amount of time watching "Queer Eye". OM-FUCKING-G, YA'LL. Those are the words to use. This show is a Netflix original but it's a remake, like most things are today, of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, which personally, I have never seen, but I have heard so many great things about. Hey, ya'll... I just heard about this this morning on NBC, but Trump wants a military parade. What the fuck? Don't we already do that for Veterans Day? Major cities like NY and Dallas have parades that honor out vets and troops. In all honesty, my first thoughts were: That is something fucking DICTATORS do!!! And who is paying for this? The American taxpayers. A waste of money! If we want to celebrate our military, let's use that money we spent on a fucking parade and use it for programs for out vets. While, I still hold belief in the majority of those thoughts, I did do my research and after doing so, it seems like America is no longer in touch with it's military. Plenty of those who serve feel as if they are isolated from the ideas and way of living of those they have sworn to protect. That is made worse by the fact that young people don't really know someone who has served, or is serving in the the military. I, myself, know a good amount of people who have...

At the end of the day, we’re only human. No matter how much of an asshole we are sometimes. Humans – curious and funny little creatures that popped on the earth like popcorn in the right conditions and took over as number one species on this,  a small, tiny rock. Unlike others on this planet, we let our emotion get in the way of our actions. Well, more like affect the nature of our actions. And we can be quite nasty. Some more than others. Human emotion is very strong and can be tapped, seemingly easy. The spot I left my car in last night. Gone, this morning. Like when you get your car towed. For an idiotic reason and you’d be responsible for the cost, that you don’t have to pay, by the way, and you’d be screwed for the rest of the day. What a world, what a world.. Who else says that? Was it the wicked witch of the West? I’ve no idea, but she melted sooo.. This Friday is so important and hectic. Especially for me..with work – dispatching my life away…and dreaming, something we all do. We’re dreamers of big hopes, big accomplishments and dreamers of leaving a big impact on this tiny rock we call home. My husband is also a dreamer. Literally. He lives as a dreamer, day and night. He never stops dreaming. Dreaming that his country, America, will take care of him, just like we, as citizens, try to take care of her. Isn’t that crazy? Is that too much to ask for? Well, damn.  For a fact, I've never paid much attention to the political world and it's ins and outs, but this current administration really has opened my eyes.  Jesus, what a joke, really.  I can't imagine what the rest of the world sees us as now. It is cold in here. Well, finally we approach a new year and in Texas, a new season...winter, which will last maybe up until March, but we are in Texas, so....sunny days?? How were your Holidays??? Ready to celebrate the new year? I am. I think we know that. You? This year will be to put our talking to the walking. School, job, attitude. All three that deserve, and are welcoming, the change you need. I know it can be scary to jump, but it will be the best thing you have done all year. You will land on a whole other cliff, which soon, you will have to leap from all over again. This life is about discovery and excitement. We can no longer find it when we stay in the same spot and realized we've visited the same corner countless times. I have been stuck in the same spot, and have been so damn scared to leave, to jump.
